FLAG FOOTBALL

The Outing Club in partnership with the New London Recreation Department is excited to announce our Fall 2023 Coed Flag Football Season.

 

Open to students in grades K-5 this 7-week season will include weekly practices with drills, skill work & scrimmaging, culminating in a fun end-of-season Fall Flag Football Clinic at Woodward Park.

The perfect way to learn the game of football, work on athletic fundamentals and have some fun, we hope you will join us this September & October!

Registration Fee: $50

Levels:

Level 1: Grades K-2 (Saturdays 10:30-11:30am at Woodward Park)

Level 2: Grades 3-5 (Mondays 3-4:30pm at the New London Town Green)

*Grades 3-5 will meet the Director of the New London Recreation Dept. at KRES-New London and walk up to the New London Town Green for practice (this is where pick-up will be).

 

Equipment Needed: athletic shoes, athletic/comfortable clothing & water

Practice Schedule:

Level 1: K-2

Saturdays 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21

​

Level 2: 3-5

Mondays 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/16 

​

Both levels are invited to our end-of-season Funday Flag Football Clinic on Sunday, October 22nd from 10a-12p.
